KD spent the past week in Jacksonville, Florida before departing from Cape Canaveral on a cruise to the Bahamas with her best friend Kayla and her family. Kayla turned 21 years old on the trip and KD’s birthday was shortly after that, so they had a spectacular double 21 celebration. We’ve had two big milestones reached by Carson and KD in the past week. Carson came over late Friday night and we had a graduation celebration on Saturday with Jason, Judy, Olivia and Ella. It was great to have the kids together. We grilled burgers, hot dogs and chicken, and Rachel bought Carson a cheesecake (his favorite) with “Congrats Carson” written on it. He appreciated all the cards and gifts he received. We enjoyed a nice evening with everyone on the patio listening to music, laughing and telling stories. Life is good.
